In the heart of León, Mexico, a powerful regenerative experience is taking root 🌱. After years of promoting the “Leather, Footwear, and Hat Route,” PiCaSo Tours joined forces with the Metropolitan Park of León during the pandemic to rethink tourism and design something more meaningful.
The result? Reconextour — an immersive outdoor tour based on regenerative tourism principles. Canoeing, bird listening, forest bathing, and hands-on conservation activities like removing mistletoe and trash from the lake are just some of the experiences that bring visitors closer to nature — and themselves. 🌿🛶
From local women preparing gorditas and endemic drinks, to moments of reflection and connection, Reconextour is a living example of how tourism can regenerate ecosystems, revive traditions, and restore well-being. 💚
